Our project
Our project is part of the pursuit of the 5th objective among the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. This objective is to Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls, and in our project we focus on educating to all forms of discrimination against women and girls.In this context, we decided to create FACTU’ELLE, which is an educational application that particularly targets young people, but also everyone who wants to be aware of how differently women can be treated.
Thank’s to our mindmaps, we learnt that discrimination is the result of the acquisition, the transmission and the persistance of stereotypes, sometimes unconsciously and from an early age.
Application Building
First, we decided to create an app, for its use of ease and the
possibility to get a push notification that can tell the user that the
daily question is available. So using Figma, we first created a
wireframe, which is the first version of our app, including the main
features we want to provide to the user.
After creating this wireframe, we made end-user tests to collect
relevant feedbacks about the UI and UX aspects of our application. By
collecting these feedbacks, we have been able to improve what we
created in our initial wireframe, and it’s important that users give
their point of view about the design and the content of our project,
so that we can match with their needs.
Mockup
The final outcome of our project is this mockup, that has been thought
and created to be as intuitive as possible in order to concern the
largest possible population.

Technologies involved
API
FACTU'ELLE needs API to interact with multiple databases, that are important for our project. For example, API's will help us to share some features of our app on other applications such as Twitter or Instagram. We'll give the user the opportunity to share the daily question, but also his test's grade. So we'll need Instragram or Twitter's API to do it.
Javascript
With Javascript, our app will be able to generate real time graphs that will show the percentage for each answer to the daily question.
